A Maui family portrait session with the Day family? Yes, please! First of all, let’s set the scene: Baldwin Beach, bathed in soft morning light, with gentle waves humming nearby and golden sunbeams kissing the sand. Now add one adventurous family of five from San Diego—Andrea, Patrick, and three absolutely adorable little ones (Victoria (4.5 yrs old), Charlotte (3 yrs old), and Emmett (1 yr old), and you’ve got a morning that’s as heartwarming as it is beautiful.
This trip was a big deal for the Day family. It wasn’t just their first Hawaii trip as a party of five, it was also Emmett’s first birthday celebration! And truly, this little guy lit up every frame like the star of the show he is. Emmett, the birthday boy, was adorable and giggly and basically gave us all heart eyes with every sweet glance.

His big sisters, Victoria and Charlotte? Equally adorable. How sweet are they?! Moana fans through and through, they brought that same island spirit to their portraits, sandy toes, twirly dresses, and wide-eyed excitement at every seashell discovery. They were so happy to be in Hawaii, as you’ll see!
And for Mom, who’s usually the one behind the camera, it was finally a chance to be in the photos too, captured with her family in a place that already feels like home. The giggles, the sandy hugs, the slightly chaotic but deeply joyful energy… this is what a Maui family portrait is all about!
