The Oftedahl’s love story began a decade ago when they said “I do” in a small town in Northwestern Wisconsin. Fast forward to the present, where they found themselves on the picturesque shores of Maui, celebrating their 10-year milestone with their two beautiful children, Hailey and Mason! They thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a Maui family portrait!
Our lovely family was so excited to visit the island. After just three days, they were already dreaming of life here, embracing minimalism, and immersing themselves in the culture. They were all saying, “We should move here!”
The family portrait session took place on a beautiful day at Southside Beach, where the sun kissed the golden sand and the gentle breeze blew through the palm trees. The Oftedahls radiated happiness as they laughed, played, and embraced the joy of being together in paradise…

These photographs captured the essence of their love and joy, with each frame beaming with brightness and airiness. The soft sunlight created a dream-like glow, perfectly complementing their radiant smiles. The Aloha spirit looks good on them!
Since it was their 10th anniversary, they held an “unofficial” vow renewal with their kids reading their vows, symbolizing the growth of their family and the love that had blossomed over the years. What made this session truly special was the inclusion of the Oftedahl’s kids! It was endearing to see their kids genuinely honor their parent’s love! Now they will have a beautiful new set of photos to commemorate their anniversary and their vacation. There’s a whole lotta love in each one!
Capturing this milestone in their journey was a beautiful way for the Oftedahl family to create lasting memories. It was a testament to the love, laughter, and togetherness that had defined their 10-year adventure. These Maui family portraits will serve as a cherished reminder of the love they share and the incredible moments they experienced during their Maui vacation! And maybe their future new home?!
