Hawaii has a special place in the Park’s hearts! For the past decade, they’ve visited during the summertime. Yet, it’s been about five years since this delightful bunch has taken group photos on the island. However, this year is full of milestones for the Parks! They knew they had to take some Maui family portraits before returning home. Above all, we know these pictures will remind them of every significant event they commemorated while on vacation. The Parks are a beautiful family of five consisting of John, his wife, Saena, and their three daughters! Our charming bunch was taking their annual summer getaway to Maui when they decided to get some moments captured. This year’s vacation was remarkable because the Parks celebrated three milestones on the island! Their oldest daughter has graduated middle school and will be starting high school. Then their second kiddo is leaving elementary school and going to middle school. Lastly, John and Saena are commemorating fifteen years of marriage in the fall!
Why They Took Maui Family Portraits
Since it’s been a few years since their last professional photo session, the Parks knew this was the perfect time for another one! This year is full of milestones for John and Saena’s daughters — they wanted us to capture this memorable moment for them. Most importantly, the Park’s photographer, Vanessa, understood how meaningful this collection of portraits was going to be. She effortlessly took beautiful pictures of these kiddos showing their magnificent talents and bright personalities. Then she got precious shots of their loving parents!
Southside Beach was the backdrop for these photos, and this spot’s beautiful landscapes didn’t disappoint. One of our favorite things about this session was how the Parks interacted with the environment around them! They walked along the shoreline, sat on the lava rocks, and got comfortable in the sand. In addition, Vanessa captured a breathtaking shot of these sisters tossing sand in the air — it’s such an epic photo!
