Tucked away on the shores of West Maui Mountains, the Olowalu Plantation House set the stage for Rachel & Jake’s sophisticated Hawaii Venue Wedding. Constructed in 1922, this historic sugar plantation is adorned with towering pines and panoramic ocean views. A perfect blend of exotic tropicals and a dash of country.
Together for over eight years, this outdoors-loving couple longed for a special day that reflected their personalities—relaxed yet sophisticated. Nothing stuffy, just contemporary flair and the Maui coastline wrapped in an elegant package. And the result had us breathless …

Intimate details designed with elegance and simplicity overlooked the waterfront.
Etched glassware refracted the gentle daylight and drew guests’ eyes to the bursts of peach, boysenberry, and blush in the untamed centerpieces.

Rachel dazzled the eyes with her stately grace and natural beauty in a couture gown designed by BHLDN.

Looking at this beautifully captured moment, we can almost envision Rachel’s jubilant expression on the day of their engagement …
After years of jet-setting across the country to see each other, the couple settled down in California to pursue Rachel’s dream job. And that’s when Jake surprised her with a visit to their old UC Berkely stomping grounds …

In the middle of a busy street and in front of their favorite college pizzeria, he asked her to marry him. And we think you can guess how she replied …

It was impossible not to be enraptured by the couple’s sincere connection. It was as if they were already married, and this was just the natural progression of their relationship … We’re swooning along with them!

After finalizing their marriage, the couple was graced with not one but two heavenly arches. “No one will believe this isn’t photoshopped!” they laughed between embraces.

Serving as a brilliant testimony to the power of their love, this Hawaiian rainbow is a sight to behold!

And as if that wasn’t spectacular enough, a few special guests dropped in. The wedding party delighted in the sight of local humpbacks as they sent their fond aloha.

In a special moment of reflection, the couple paused and soaked in the sunset, the whales, and the presence of their loved ones on this spectacular day.

Set aglow by a luminous sunset and strings of twinkling lights, the couple shared their first dance.
This wedding had all the magic a girl could wish for and then some!
