The Randolph family recently visited Kauai for the first time, and their excitement was palpable! With their son, Garrett, freshly graduated from high school and preparing to head off to college in the fall, this trip was a special celebration. The family, known for their love of adventure, embraced this new journey with open arms.

Their Kauai family portrait session took place on a beautiful morning at Anini Beach, a location they chose for its serene atmosphere. The scenery was perfect, setting the stage for some truly memorable photos.

Photographing this adventurous family was a pleasure! Rhonda, the mother, is a big fan of family photos, though the rest of the family doesn’t share the same enthusiasm. Their daughter Ellie and son Garret were great in front of the camera. Despite some initial shyness, the whole family ended up having a good time, making the session a memorable one.

Despite any initial reservations, the family quickly felt right at ease with our photographer. It was clear that they were all enjoying themselves, which made for beautiful and sun-kissed portraits!

The session included a mix of group shots, couple poses, and individual portraits, capturing the essence of each family member. Garrett, at 17, exuded a sense of readiness for his next chapter, while Ellie’s vibrant personality shone through in every picture. Their parents are so proud of them both which is evident in every shot…
