The Reyes Ohana was back for a splash of fun with more Maui Family Photography! This is their fifth photo session with us, and we are eternally grateful once again for the chance to catch up and frame lasting memories. This time the special event is Ryan’s COLLEGE graduation! We remember when the boys were younger, and snapping these images of the Reyes Family’s growth reminds us why we do what we do. We love our families, and we love the stories our photos tell. 

The Maui Family Photography

We began our session among the tropical greenery of Southside Beach. Maui is a home away from home for the Reyes Family, and we could see it in their shoulders and their eyes. Relaxed and vibrant. And we feel confident in saying the island loves them back, just check out the weather Maui sent to say Aloha.

Once we transitioned to the sand, the honey glow set in and we captured some gorgeous lighting with Vanessa, Craig, and the boys as our awesome models.

Then it was time for Ryan to get into his robes and celebrate his amazing milestone! We may be biased, but we can’t imagine a better atmosphere to celebrate your achievements than on the warm sand with the glistening ocean in the backdrop. 

During their trip, the Reyes Ohana are also remembering the boys’ father. In a beautiful homage and as a means of having him close during the graduation ceremony, Ryan wore a photo of his father on his lei. It was a touching addition, and we were sure to give Dad a special close up during our Maui Family Photography session. 

When asked about her spectacular boys, Mom said: “Jordan and Ryan are now college grads and Jordan lives and works in Playa del Rey in LA as a copywriter. With everything reopening, he is hoping to finally run the NYC Marathon in 2021 as a tribute to his late father John. He has raised money for Tackle Kids Cancer Organization. Ryan will continue to pursue his education and career in Physical Therapy. Craig and I are enjoying the life we have built together and looking forward to a bright future with all our children.”
