The Sampson family, a relatively new family of three, had the best time during their Hawaii vacation! Their love and connection were palpable during every bright and happy moment at the beach. Our lovely family wanted some Maui family portraits that reflect their new bond, full of laughter and joy. And this year, some of those shots will even make their way onto their Christmas cards!
Cortnie, John, and their sweet daughter Kate are a tight-knit bunch. Kate is a sweet and funny little girl, always up for an adventure. John has been the rock for both Cortnie and Kate in the most difficult of times. These two plan to get married one day! They love to travel and experience new things together. Maui has so many fun family activities in nature to do too!
This was their first time visiting the beautiful island of Maui, having previously been to Oahu years ago while serving in the Air Force. Excitement filled the air as they soaked up the stunning scenery and prepared for their much-anticipated family portrait session with our photographer!

How sweet are these portraits? It warms our hearts to see how love can bring a new chapter of hope…and fun, of course! Kate adores John, and they had so much fun playing on the sand together, dancing and giggling. These candid Maui family portraits will be wonderful options for a potential Christmas card! The candid moments are just the best, as they really capture their personalities and connection. As our camera clicked away, the Sampsons let their true selves shine through with a splash or two as well!
The Sampsons enjoyed the vibrant colors and tropical ambiance at Southside Beach. The gentle breeze and the sound of crashing waves set the perfect backdrop for their family portraits. Maui mornings are a sight to behold, with vibrant colors and tropical landscapes creating a picturesque backdrop. It was the perfect setting to showcase the Sampsons love for one another and the warmth they radiate as a family. They clearly have so much fun together!
