Happy Beach Days – The Simmons’ Maui Family Portrait

The Simmons family recently visited Maui for the first time for a big family vacation. But it wasn’t just any ordinary family vacation; they are celebrating Rick and Barbette’s 50th anniversary! Fifty years – what a milestone! So the Simmons wanted to commemorate this special occasion by booking a Maui family portrait! They told us they haven’t had family photos taken in years, so it was about time for some lovely group family portraits! And what could be a better location than the gorgeous beaches of Maui?

Our lovely family was in great spirits when they met our photographer at DT Fleming Beach. Everyone was joking around, laughing, and generally enjoying the tropical ambiance. We made sure to capture all of the different family units, grandparents with grandkids, brothers; you name the pairing, and we shot it! And most importantly, the original “Sharp 5!” It was so fun to see all their loving connections and personalities shine through our lens. They are one close-knit bunch, as you can probably tell by their big smiles and tickles in the candid portraits!
One thing that was important to the Simmons was to take advantage of all of the gorgeous tropical scenery at the beach, from the weathered rocks, turquoise waters, and the signature feature of this beach – the ALOHA surfboards! These Maui family portraits will certainly make up for years of not having been taken professionally in a long time! These beautiful portraits are colorful, bright, playful…and full of love.
