We had a great time with the Sunds! They joined us last Saturday on the sandy shoreline of Polo Beach. When they arrived, the morning sun rose in the sky and shined brightly on the seaside. Throughout their session, our charming group didn’t hesitate to have fun! Most importantly, we can’t wait to see which Maui beach portraits the Sunds love best — especially since we have a few favorites of our own! Keep scrolling to see their photos for yourself.
The Sunds are a beautiful group of five visiting the island from Washington and Montana! Joining Monica in paradise was her son, Andy, daughter-in-law, Lanie, and her three grandchildren! Although Andy and Lanie have been to Maui, this was their kid’s first time. In addition, this was the first they’ve been to Hawaii as a family! Even though they planned to come a few years ago, COVID got in the way. More than anything, we were happy to hear they were enjoying their time. The Sunds arrived on Wednesday, and they absolutely love it here!
Why They Took Maui Beach Portraits
Our beautiful group wanted to capture their family moments on the beach in Hawaii! The Sunds didn’t want many posed pictures; however, as the grandmother, Monica wanted a few of those with everyone. More than anything, this session was about Andy, Lanie, and their kids! They also wanted a few portraits of grandma with her grandkids, then some mom and son ones of Monica and Andy. Above all, they wanted the island’s beauty captured in every shot. The Sunds would like everyone who sees their pictures to know they’re in Hawaii!
The Sunds love the outdoors — taking Maui beach portraits couldn’t have been more perfect for them. You can find this adventurous group riding bikes, skiing, and running in the Montana mountains. They also enjoy camping while visiting National Parks!
