Sunny and Paul flew in from Dallas to celebrate their sixteenth anniversary and capture Couples Portraits in Maui that they hoped would be “natural and timeless.” And what they got was so much more! On the shore of Polo Beach, Sunny and Paul took fun and intimate photos that will look spectacular on their photo wall! 

The Couples Portraits in Maui Session

Polo Beach is situated on Maui’s south shore and features a variety of rock formations and tropical backdrops. Which made it the perfect location for our couple who wanted Couples Portraits in Maui that showcased both the rugged elements of the island and the glistening ocean.

The day was bright, but an occasional cloud would drift across the sun, making dynamic shots that were a combination of both vivid and pastel. We loved how Sunny and Paul weren’t afraid to kick up the ocean and had a blast playing with their poses! Just look at the cuteness!

Our Couple’s Story

Sunny and Paul both immigrated to St. Louis from South Korea. They met in high school and became inseparable! Sunny and Paul said “I do” in 2013 and are best friends. Sunny says sometimes it even feels like they can read each other’s thoughts!

Together they love golfing, being in nature, and swimming. They’re both intrigued with learning about different cultures and are always excited to travel. Keep scrolling for more of this sweet and adorable couple plus a sunset that was pure fire!
