Last week we reunited with Sydney & Patrick to capture their Maui Trash the Dress Photography. We first met them last month when we photographed their Maui Beach Wedding. They had a sunny morning ceremony in West Maui, and so we did everything different for their portrait session.
We met them at Southside Beach in South Maui for dreamy Maui sunset photography. Take a look at some of their gorgeous shots!
Making the Most of their Maui Vacation
Sydney & Patrick were in full honeymoon mode for their Maui Trash the Dress photography session. As joyous and simple as their wedding was, it still brought nerves and jitters. With the big day behind them and the rest of their lives ahead of them, they slowed down and embraced the romance and magic of Maui.
A portrait session is one of the best ways to take in Maui’s natural beauty. You’ll set your phones to the side, chase the prettiest lighting, and spend an hour admiring the surroundings.
Sydney & Patrick were champs at this. You can tell their honeymoon was a time to disconnect from the world and connect with each other. And now they have beautiful Maui Trash the Dress Portraits to remember this time.
Why Take Trash the Dress Photos in Maui?
Sydney & Patrick went all-in for their Maui Trash the Dress photography. They played in the shoreline of Southside Beach, splashing, kissing, and trying not to fall into the waves.
But before we got these final photos, we were sure to get some romantic (dry) portraits. We meet many couples who don’t necessarily want to trash their attire during their second portrait session, which is awesome too. Instead, they want the chance to get extra portraits without the rush and worry of a wedding day.
Sydney & Patrick’s Maui Trash the Dress Photography also allowed them to get sunset portraits along with their Morning wedding album. This way, they got the best of both worlds: bright, vibrant morning colors and dreamy sunset hues.
