When the Domingos decided to spend Labor Day weekend in Maui, they knew they should also hire a Maui Portrait Photographer. We’re so glad they chose us! This Kauai crew was such a joy, from their sweet spirits to their good looks — they made our job easy!

Finding Peace in the Waiting

Not only was this Maui family photography, it was also an engagement session for Cheryl & Eugene. These two sweethearts once dreamed of a 2020 wedding but couldn’t imagine marrying without their friends and family there. So they waited and waited, and now have a new 2023 wedding date set – YAY!!

Cheryl & Eugene found peace in the timing of things. After all, they’ve been together for 16 years and have spent that time building a strong relationship and a beautiful family. Their adorable daughters Caylee and Cassie are their pride and joy, so they’ve been putting a lot of focus toward them over the years. 

But they still prioritize their relationship, and we got to see it first hand while being their Maui Portrait Photographer.

What keeps their relationship going strong?  Cheryl says it’s loyalty, being honest, having trust, and having lots of patience. After seeing how joyful this family is — and how strong their bond is — we’ll take any relationship advice these two are willing to offer!

Plans for their Maui Beach Portraits

One of the reasons Cheryl & Eugene booked a Maui Portrait Photographer is because they wanted a great photo for their Save-the-Dates. Now they can grace everyone’s mailboxes with a stunning picture and exciting announcement. The planning has begun, a date has been set, and we’re hopeful their long-awaited wedding will go off without a hitch!

But that’s not the only fate for these gorgeous Maui beach photos! They will also decorate their wedding, the walls of their home, and their Social Media feed! And while they’ll soon have wedding photos to treasure, you can’t beat these relaxed and romantic Maui photos they took on their family vacation!
