Turning 10 – The Vargas’ Maui Family Portrait
There are three things the Vargas family adores more than anything: the ocean, each other, and documenting their adventures like they’re curating the world’s most photogenic scrapbook (which, to be fair, they totally are). This year marked a first—Hawaii, people. Cue the ukulele music, salty sea breeze, and a whole lot of aloha spirit for their Maui family portrait!
Having a shared love for the ocean, the Vargas trio landed on Maui’s shores with wide eyes, high hopes, and the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for kids in candy stores. DT Fleming Beach was the backdrop of choice, and oh, did it deliver. Think: golden sand, sparkling water, and that breezy, carefree vibe that makes you want to bottle up the moment and carry it home in your suitcase.
Their annual tradition—taking professional photos on one trip per year—turned into something extra special this time. With candid giggles, wind-tousled hair, and the kind of effortless joy that only happens when you’re completely in your element, they captured magic. Their daughter, especially, was the star of the show (obviously!) Her laughter echoing against the waves as her parents soaked in the moment. And it was her 10th birthday too!
Casual. Easy. Breezy. Perfect.
It wasn’t just about photos—it was about freezing time, soaking up the sun, and adding a new beach to their treasured collection of seaside walks. The Vargas family had the best time, and these images are now souvenirs of a day that was, quite frankly, everything they’d hoped for and more. Ocean air, sunshine, love, and laughter—what more could you want from a Maui daydream turned reality?
