Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of meeting with the Voelkers and capturing their beach portraits in Maui! As always, it was a joy to photograph these moments for our lovely family. They were lively and full of great energy every second during this session! Most importantly, we’re glad they have a new collection of photos to put on their wall. The Voelkers are a charming family of four who are lucky enough to call Maui their home! Currently, Flora is a physical therapist, while Matt works in the hospitality industry. You can find this fun bunch hunting, fishing, or diving in their spare time. Taking group photos on the beach couldn’t have been more perfect for them! Every shot showcases their adventurous spirits and lighthearted personalities!
The Exquisite Beach Portraits in Maui
Flora, her husband, Matt, and their twins are a fantastic group to be around! They were relaxed in front of the camera and showed off their bright grins in every shot! Since this gorgeous bunch are dear friends to our owner, Karma, this shoot wasn’t our first time photographing them. Karma has been taking their pictures since this delightful duo’s kiddos were newborns! As a result, the Voelkers already knew what poses to strike and where to smile. They made it easy for us to capture their remarkable moments!
South Maluaka Beach set the background for this portrait session, and this spot has many breathtaking scenes! Thankfully, the Voelkers didn’t hesitate to take advantage of every striking landscape. First, we started by taking a few photos in front of the dramatic lava rocks. Then as the sun began to set, we got some dreamy pictures on the sandy shoreline. Lastly, the luxuriant greenery and lush grass were a magical but tropical backdrop!
