They say unexpected moments are always sweeter than the expected ones. Zachary’s surprise proposal to Makenzie proves this statement true for us! As the sun began to lower, he popped the question at the perfect time!

The sapphire blue painted across the sky while the cerulean ocean stretched across the horizon. Most importantly, Lahaina set a flawless scene for the occasion. The beach was glowing romantically from the luminous rays of the sunset!

We have never seen Maui proposal portraits this magical! The excitement on Zachary’s face is so bright — you can feel it through the screen. Our favorite thing is Makenzie’s ecstatic expression. While Zachary is down on one knee, you can see she is both in shock and bursting with joy!

Can you tell Makenzie said yes? In every portrait, our charming couple is shining radiantly! Both of them are shimmering with happiness on the inside, and you can see it on their faces. We adore the pure bliss they’re feeling at becoming a newly engaged couple!

We like every photo, but this has to be one of our favorites. Zachary made a great choice by choosing to propose at sunset because the sky is breathtaking! You can see the ultramarine ocean at the bottom and soft colors behind the fluffy clouds creating a fairytale background.
