Holidays Are Better Together – Short’s Family Portraits in Oahu

It’s never easy to get all your loved ones in a single place! Since it’s the holiday season, the Shorts decided to get together in Hawaii and take family portraits in Oahu. We adore everything about these photos, and we know you will too!

The Short family consist of six charming people! Tara, her husband, Austin, and their newborn son are residents of the island. While Anita, Grey, and Emily were visitors of Hawaii! These photos are gifts for Tara’s mother since everyone is rarely in one place. We can’t imagine a better present because these portraits are beautiful!

The Vibrant Family Portraits in Oahu

Setting the scene for this session was Waimanalo Beach. This East Oahu spot created a breathtaking backdrop! You can see how the foamy cerulean waves, pearly sand, and rich greenery exquisitely decorate the background. Heavy silky clouds and a soft breeze created an enchanting ambiance — making every picture feel airier!

We adore how this delightful bunch dressed for their session! Everyone’s outfit is comfortable, simple, and beachy. You can see how the different shades of blue their wearing complement the warm hues surrounding them!

It was a pleasure capturing these moments for the Short family! They arrived at the sandy shore prepared to enjoy their beach time. You can tell everyone was cheerful and enthusiastic during this session from their bright smiles! Above all, we like how jovial these portraits are.
