Last weekend, we met up with this charming bunch to capture some memories for them! The Petteys’ Kauai family portraits are colorful, enthusiastic, and cheerful. Most importantly, we know this delightful group will be able to relive their time on the island with these moments. Keep scrolling to see their photos for yourself!

The Petteys are a lovely family of five visiting the island for spring break vacation. Kasey, her husband, Chris, and their three children relaxed and soaked up the tropical weather. Truthfully, we can’t imagine a better way to spend a holiday with your loved ones!

The Vibrant Kauai Family Portraits

We had a lot of fun capturing portraits of these little ones! Their oldest son is eleven years old, their daughter is nine, and the youngest is four years old. All of these kiddos had different personalities. Not to mention, they were full of enthusiasm! Above all, we adore how they weren’t afraid to let their dynamic energy out. In every shot, you can see their bright smiles. Then, toward the end of the session, we captured an adventurous photo when they climbed on a palm tree!

As soon as the Petteys arrived at Shipwrecks Beach, we knew this session would be great! Although the weather wasn’t perfect, this spot provided us with breathtaking backdrops. Then our beautiful family was wearing comfortable and colorful attire — ideal for Kauai family portraits. Lastly, they had the biggest grins on their faces. We even got a few shots of them laughing as they savored their beach time!
