Private Perfection ~ Samantha & Matthew’s Oahu Elopement

It was an honor to be the photographer for Samantha and Matthew’s Oahu Elopement! The couple chose to get married at one of the most beautiful locations on the island. Yokohama Beach is in one of the most secluded parts of Oahu, so most tourists never visit its sandy shores. We usually find the beach completely empty, making it a dream location for an Oahu Elopement! We always photoshop unwanted people out of the background of photos, to create stunning images for our bride and groom, however having a private setting is an experience that is well worth the drive to this undeveloped location. With the Waianae Mountain Range behind them, Samantha and Matthew, could not have been more thrilled with their decision to become husband and wife!
They are a truly adorable pair! Samantha wore her hair loosely curled and added a subtle jeweled headband to compliment her lace wedding dress. Her boho vibe was supplemented with a beautiful bridal bouquet, the soft colors were perfect for this intimate Oahu Elopement. Matthew rocked a navy suit and bow tie with a crisp button-up shirt. We love this look, well-done groom! His bride could not have been happier be marrying him, exactly as it should be! After the ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed spending time together taking in the island’s natural beauty. As the evening came to a close, the happy couple headed up the beach to take off in their fun limo! We love this shot of them snuggled up in the back, taking in all the excitement of their special day.
