Morning and sunset are both great times of day for portraits so it really depends on the look you want for your pictures. Morning sessions give a brighter more tropical blue ocean look and it’s usually less windy! Sunset sessions create a warmer light with a beautiful Oahu sunset in the background.
Both times are perfect for capturing beautiful moments you will absolutely love.

who will our Oahu photographer be?
With a full team of Oahu family photographers, we assign someone based on your booked date. Every one of our team members is highly trained in Karma Hill’s signature style, so no matter who you work with, you’re going to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

what happens if it rains?
Luckily, it hardly ever rains in our favorite photo locations! But if it does, we could either relocate your session to a different spot on the island or we can try to reschedule at no additional charge.

How many pictures will we get?
Good news—there’s NO limit to the number of pictures we take during your photo session! The amount of family photos you can expect is based on the amount of time we shoot for and your package selection.

How do we pay for our portrait session?
We require a $50 deposit to reserve your session date, and the remaining balance is due two days before your session. We’ll send you an invoice so you can easily pay online via credit card.

When will we receive our final gallery?
We know that waiting to see your pictures is the hardest part, so we’ll post a sneak peek of your session on our blog about a week later! Your completed final gallery will be ready to view about 3-4 weeks after your session.

You’ll receive a link in your email inbox to visit your private online gallery. From there, you can download and share your Oahu family photos!

Do you have any portrait session props?
Our beach portraits are designed to capture the natural interaction between you and your loved ones, so we don’t bring props unless asked. If you have a request, please let us know! If we have it, we’re happy to bring it with us.
