One Love – The Bogusch-McConnell’s Big Island Family Portrait

There are few things more beautiful than a giant, joy-filled Big Island family portrait beach session… especially when it takes place on the ruggedly stunning shores of Old Kona Airport Beach. The Bogusch-McConnell crew showed up in full force, multiple generations, big smiles, sweet connections, and outfits in the dreamiest summery palette. And it was everything.

With the Big Island’s dramatic lava rocks, swaying palms, and endless ocean views, this session wasn’t just about photos, it was about presence. About stopping time, just for a second, to celebrate a family legacy that’s clearly built on love, laughter, and probably the occasional group text with too many emojis.

There’s something incredibly special about big family portraits. Yes, they take coordination (and possibly snacks, and maybe a cousin as a bribe-dispenser). But once you’re there, barefoot on the beach, giggling over who blinks too much, holding hands with someone you love? It’s magic. These aren’t just pretty pictures. They’re a testament.
