There’s a kind of magic that happens when golden Maui light, ocean breezes, and two people hopelessly in love collide. Diane and Jacob’s Maui wedding photography at The Plantation Restaurant was one of those moments…
From the very beginning, their day felt like a storybook unfolding. Diane looked radiant in her off-the-shoulder gown, clutching a bouquet of crisp white calla lilies that matched the elegant floral arrangements lining their ceremony space. Jacob, in a light sand-hued suit, was the picture of relaxed sophistication, the kind of groom who can’t take his eyes off his bride even when the ocean views are right there competing. (Spoiler: Diane won every time!)

The ceremony itself was intimate, framed by lush greenery and the wide Maui sky. Diane and Jacob exchanged vows with their loved ones looking on with joy and a few tears on their faces. Their smiles light up our lens, the kind of unfiltered, caught-in-the-moment joy we love to capture.

And then came the portraits. Oh, the portraits! Hand in hand on the sand, as the sun dipped lower and wrapped them in that signature Maui glow. We leaned into our photography style, bright, airy, timeless, so every kiss and glance feels like bottled sunshine, ready to be treasured for decades to come.
These two now have more than just photos; they have living, breathing memories in their Maui wedding photography. The ones where you can almost feel the warmth of the sand, smell the salt in the air, and remember exactly how it felt to stand next to your person and promise forever…

The lighting was the kind of cinematic glow you secretly hope for when you dream about wedding portraits! The sun slipped lower on the horizon, gilding everything in shades of honey and champagne.
Every time Diane leaned into Jacob, the light seemed to wrap around them like a halo, softening edges and turning simple gestures into timeless captures. It wasn’t just golden hour, it was golden hour on Maui, which is basically golden hour magnified ten times!

Congratulations, Diane and Jacob! We were honored to document your beautiful day. May the decades ahead be full of love, laughter, and aloha!
