Gabe and Andrea’s Big Island couples portrait was such a special occasion for this lovely couple, who wanted to take some time aside from their busy lives to capture their loving and intimate relationship. It was a beautiful evening under the golden setting sun, beautifully reflecting their love and friendship… what could be more romantic than a Hawaiian sunset with your love?

Just For Us

Their big blended family became one two years ago, but this romantic portrait session was just for the two of them. As local residents, they knew the stunning and rugged scenery of Old Kona Airport Beach would be the perfect location for their Big Island couples portrait.

The golden hour lighting was simply dreamy and highlighted their warm smiles, deepening their shared intimacy. Our couple wandered around, holding hands, walking over lava rocks and small tide pools while enjoying the tropical serenity surrounding them. Despite the uneven terrain, Gabe and Andrea moved gracefully among the lava rocks, a signature natural feature of the Big Island! They shared many tender and loving moments during their shoot, enjoying the moment, the warm sun, and each other’s company…

The Old Kona Airport Beach offered spectacular tropical scenery, complete with lava rocks and tide pools – all of the characteristic features of Hawaii’s biggest island! The peaceful, serene location provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate couple’s portrait. Andrea and Gabe, who love the outdoors and all the adventures the island offers, felt right at home…especially in each other’s arms!
