What an epic night to spend with these two love birds. They have known each other since high school, but fell in love 8 months ago and wanted a romantic trip to Hawaii to celebrate their bond. They decided to book some Maui Couples Portraits to document their time here and the end result is so beautiful! It showcases their love and the beautiful scenery of Maui.
Two Locations
Artem & Rimma wanted to get a variety of backdrops for their Maui couples portraits. We helped them choose two of the most epic locations in Maui, Honolua Jungle and Ironwoods Beach. As luck would have it, these locations are only a few miles apart so it makes it very easy to do both in one portrait session.
Honolua Jungle
Honolua Jungle is next to the famous surf and snorkel spot Honolua Bay in Northwest Maui. It looks like something you would have to hike miles to, but really it’s just a quick walk from the parking area.
Ironwoods Beach
This beach has not only white sand and blue water but towering ocean cliffs that are easily accessible via a trail from the beach. It’s often windy in this location, which can seem challenging but also adds a beautiful element of movement to the photos with dresses and hair blowing.
We always recommend booking enough time to take advantage of the cliffs at the far south end of the beach. It can take a bit of time to walk to their most scenic spot, so we were glad that Artem & Rimma had enough time to take advantage of this amazing spot.
