Dreams Do Come True – Ashley & Brady’s Maui Wedding Photography
Ashley and Brady’s love story is the kind that deserves to be captured in golden hour light. As their Maui wedding photographer, we were lucky enough to witness every sweet, meaningful moment of their day at Gather Maui, a venue that’s as stunning as it is serene.
Ashley, a dispatcher for the Washington State Patrol, had dreamed of getting married on Maui since she was a kid. The island held a special place in her heart. It’s filled with sunshine-soaked memories that she wanted to fold into this new chapter of her life. For Brady, a middle school teacher and Maui first-timer, it only took one glimpse of Ashley’s past adventures (and a few jaw-dropping island photos) to fall head over heels, not just for her, but for the island too. And as you’ll see, it was such a beautiful day!
Their Story
They met online (modern love story energy!) and got engaged in Greece in front of the Temple of Poseidon, because, naturally, these two do romance on a global scale. But when it came to tying the knot, nothing felt more right than Maui. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Ashley and Brady said “I do” in a place already woven into Ashley’s heart, and now, forever part of both of theirs.
Their wedding was everything a Maui celebration should be: relaxed, beautiful, and filled with joy. As their Maui wedding photographer, we focused on candid moments and the sacred ones…the quiet glances, big laughs, and barefoot-in-the-sand kind of love that makes documenting days like this such a dream. The way the arch framed their vows was perfection!
And then, just when the light was that soft, dreamy pink that only Maui can deliver, our Maui wedding photographer snuck them away for some just-married portraits on the beach. Ashley looked absolutely radiant, with the most stunning bouquet of tropical florals and a glow that only comes from marrying your best friend. Brady looked so handsome beside her, calm and beaming.
Their portraits were everything we love about our photography style: natural, candid, and filled with real emotion. No stiff poses, just connection and joy framed by swaying palms and gentle waves.
It was a celebration of love, island beauty, and the start of a forever kind of adventure.
