Having lived in North Kihei until 2021, Maui held a special place in their hearts—a place where memories were made and dreams were shared. Despite having to move to the mainland due to housing shortages, their love for Maui endured, and they were determined to give back to the community that had shaped them by hosting their wedding on the island. Their journey to matrimony began in Portland, Oregon, where they met at the Up North Surf Club and Brewery. Jeremy sealed their love with a proposal on a serene beach in San Diego, California. It set the stage for their future beach Maui elopement—a celebration of love, resilience, and community.
