Why They Took Maui Beach Portraits
Before their session, the Kamei-Obidowskis shared how much they like having family photos done! They especially enjoy taking portraits for special occasions. For this session, they were celebrating their daughter turning three years old!
Mike and Marcin’s kiddos are happy and full of life! When the Kamei-Obidowskis arrived at the beach, we could tell they were excited to spend some time making memories at the seaside. It was a joy capturing their moments because they didn’t hesitate to have fun and be lighthearted with their poses. Our charming bunch had a few playful shots — those photos are absolutely precious!
In Japanese culture, “Shichi-Go-San” is a traditional rite of passage. This Maui beach portraits session was part of the Kamei-Obidowski’s celebration of their daughter’s three-year-old milestone! Usually, on this occasion, they wear a kimono. However, since they were on the island, our cheerful group wore comfortable Hawaiian dresses! It was such an honor to be part of this tradition and commemoration. We hope this collection of photos will forever remind them of this phenomenal time!
