Cairo Turns One! The Larson’s Maui Photographer Mini Session

A first birthday comes with so many emotions, and we’re so happy we got to commemorate this momentous occasion with Cairo and his parents! The Larson family booked our Maui Photographer Mini Session, which allowed them to get sweet portraits on Lahaina’s scenic shores.

Mom & Dad’s Mini
A Maui Photographer Mini Session was perfect for this miniature cutie. Cairo is so adorable, just like his parents! With a coordinated wardrobe and a grin that could light up the entire island, the little California Boy was living a Maui Hawaii dream.
The Larsons are an L.A. family through and through. They love the beaches in Southern California and named their rescue dog Kobe after adopting him on Kobe Bryant Day six years ago.
But there is something special about Hawaii, and they wanted Cairo’s first birthday photo shoot to be in a unique and magical setting.
They helped us pull off a Maui photographer mini session that was effortless and dreamy. We can’t get enough of their family photos and are so excited to share it with them now!
The World at His Feet
Monterey & Matt definitely deserve this family vacation! These two survived their first year of parenthood like all-stars — Cairo is so lucky to have these two as parents.
Baby Beach in Lahaina was a great setting for their Maui Photographer Mini Session. This Maui beach features calm waters, emerald landscaping, swaying palm trees, and clear blue skies.
Not only was their family photography a chance to document this sweet time in their lives, but it also allowed them to enjoy some quality time in a beautiful location.
We could have spent hours with the Larson family, especially since Cairo is so squishy and angelic. But like all little cuties his age, he was only up for so much photography. That’s one of the best things about our Maui photographer mini session — it allows families to get great photography during their Hawaii vacation without spending a lot of time on it.
This means Cairo could get a break from the camera while Mom and Dad got back to relaxing, all while looking forward to this sneak peek of their Maui family portraits!
