We are so excited to share these images from the Sheads’ Maui Beach Portraits! Ironwoods was extra gorgeous during this session, and we had so much fun with the entire crew. 

The setting sun cast a magical glow around the family as they found their place on a dramatic sea cliff and then walked along the sandy shore. Surrounded by limitless love and endless horizons, Beth and her family captured images that reflect their unique personalities and their collective spirit.

Reliving Each Memory

The Shead, Villanueva, and Rogers families were visiting Maui for a wedding. One of the great things about a Destination Wedding is that it allows families to gather for an extended time in a gorgeous location. Free of worries and obligations, this smiling group was simply enjoying their time on our magical island. 

Beth is the matriarch of this sweet family. She brought along her three daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandsons for this portrait session. Her grandchildren adore her, and while they may be too young to appreciate the value of these Maui beach portraits now, we know they’ll treasure them for a lifetime. 

But for Beth and her daughters, these pictures are the ultimate souvenir. Though their time on Maui is over, they can still relive their vacation through their Maui beach portraits. Each image reflects the laughter and joy that is so unique to this time in their lives. 

We’re so honored we got to be a part of their vacation in this small yet meaningful way!

Maui Beach Portraits – Outfit Inspiration

Beth and her family chose calm, earthy tones for their attire, which looked great with the colors at Ironwoods Beach. The water has a muted turquoise hue at sunset, and the sky shines with pastel blues and golds. So with their outfits reflecting the dreamy greens and blues along with the rich neutrals found along the cliffs and sand, they could teach a masterclass on Maui Portrait Outfits!

But the Sheads’ good looks go beyond their wardrobe. They brought with them beautiful smiles, bright spirits, and a relaxed attitude that was so easy to photograph.
