It was an exciting day for us here at Karma Hill Photography to witness Madie and Brian’s Maui proposal portrait last week! It was so thoughtful and heartwarming! We couldn’t contain our excitement for Brian as he was about to propose to the love of his life! Keep reading to see the big moment of surprise!

So let’s set the scene for Brian’s plan to propose. Madie and Brian met in college at the University of Iowa…and they have dated for four years! He wanted to ask the question at the tropical setting on the Sheraton lawn with his friends and family hiding on the balcony above…

As they were on their way to dinner, to her surprise and delight, as you can see, Brian got down on one knee! And she said yes!

We were so charmed by the thoughtfulness that Brian had for the decor! Our sister company, Simple Maui Wedding, coordinated all the lovely details! We love the big, bold LOVE sign and the tropical flower ring. It was so special and unique! Madie was so taken aback in the best way!

And Brian was over the moon as it all worked out to plan!

Their friends and family were overjoyed, too – it was such a happy and precious moment for all!

We love love! Madie and Brian are so in love, and we couldn’t be happier for them! It was so endearing to see the little details that Brian thought of – you could tell he was ready to ask the big question!
