One Day – The Medhin’s Maui Family Portrait

Ten years ago, Mesle and Bruk stood on the sands of Maui, newly married, wildly in love, and dreaming out loud about the future. During their elopement portrait session, they whispered something sweet and a little wistful: “One day, we’ll bring our kids here.”

Well, cue the joyful tears, here they are for their Maui family portrait!

For their 10-year anniversary, the Medhins returned to Southside Beach with their two adorable sons, Micah (7) and Mathias (4), and we’re not exaggerating when we say it felt like flipping through a living photo album. The same sand, the same love, but this time, more giggles, more footprints, and a whole lot more energy.

The boys were dressed in the cutest striped seersucker outfits that made them look like tiny beach gentlemen, equal parts adorable and unstoppable. They ran, they explored, they got sandy, and they absolutely lived their best lives. Meanwhile, Mesle and Bruk looked as radiant and in love as they did a decade ago. Effortless, warm, and clearly soaking in the magic of this full-circle moment.

This wasn’t just another family session. It was a celebration of promises kept, love that’s grown, and the little dreamers who now chase waves along the same beach where their parents promised forever.

And it wouldn’t be a complete Maui family portrait session without full-on hopping in the ocean! Their boys were just loving every second of the beach! These will truly be memories they will cherish for years and years…we just know it!
