It was a magical birthday celebration for baby during the Newloves’ family portraits in Kauai! With three family groups and the endless rustic seascape, this crew spent their morning exploring the island and creating memories that will last a lifetime. 

The Family Portraits in Kauai

The Newloves have a tradition to capture their kiddos’ first birthdays with beautiful family photos. We were thrilled to be a part of this wonderful occasion! We began the session with a few couple’s portraits of the grandparents that highlighted their still glowing and radiant love. Then we moved on to the rest of the families, who were all so full of smiles and energy! 

From baby lifting to tickling and flexing, the Newloves were clearly excited to celebrate their littlest one. The older kids had a great time exploring the shore and looking out at the roaring ocean. Why go to Disneyland when you can go to paradise? This vacation was more than just fun, it was relaxing and sentimental for this entire crew. We were thrilled to capture their family portraits in Kauai and help them frame those memories. 

Wearing a spectrum of buttery shades and vibrant blues, the Newloves looked right at home against the tropical backdrop. We loved the little details of brother’s stylish hat and the oldest grandson’s Hawaiian necklace. This crew knows how to celebrate a birthday! 

The late morning at Kukuiula Beach began with bright sunshine and then transitioned to a mild overcast sky. The result was soft lighting and a few fun “It’s sprinkling!” captures of the cute kids! Keep scrolling for adorable kisses in the sprinkles!
