Sometimes, Maui wedding photography feels almost surreal, bathed in golden light and wrapped in emotion. Debbie and Peter’s wedding at the Grand Wailea Chapel was one of those special, luminous days! It was elegant, deeply heartfelt, and entirely their own!
Stepping inside the chapel felt like crossing into another world. The iconic stained-glass window, alive with color, plumeria blossoms, and island symbolism, washed the entire room in a radiant glow. As Debbie and Peter stood together at the altar, surrounded by that kaleidoscope of Maui hues, the moment took on a cinematic beauty. Their bridesmaids, dressed in soft, ombré gowns that transitioned from coral to blush, added an extra burst of warmth that mirrored the palette of a Maui sunset. Rose petals lined the aisle, the wood pews framed the scene, and everything settled into a perfect, quiet tenderness. It was a special day that we were honored to capture!

Their ceremony was intimate, bright, and overflowing with emotion. The way they looked at each other, gentle, steady, full of gratitude, made the entire chapel feel still, as if time had pressed pause. It was the kind of moment that reminds us why we love Maui wedding photography: genuine emotion illuminated by extraordinary beauty. The light that filled the chapel made this sacred moment even more meaningful…

And once the ceremony ended, the joy only grew! Outside the chapel, laughter spilled into every frame. Debbie, radiant in her feathered mini dress, and Peter, timeless in his tux, moved through their portraits with ease, elegance, and undeniable chemistry.

We wandered through the Grand Wailea’s gardens afterward, letting the warm Maui sun guide us to palm-lined paths, fountains, and dramatic staircases. Finally, at the beach, the day softened into a classic, romantic glow as the waves rolled in behind them. There are numerous beautiful areas for newlywed portraits at this venue, making it hard not to explore and take full advantage of every corner!
These two could walk straight off the wedding aisle and onto a magazine cover. Debbie’s chic ruffle mini dress and Peter’s classic tux are giving “tropical glam meets timeless romance,” and honestly… we’re obsessed!

It was a day full of heart, full love, full of light, and a celebration Maui will always remember.
Congratulations, Debbie and Peter! What an extraordinary beginning!

There are moments in life that feel suspended in time, quiet, breathtaking, and utterly unforgettable. Kaiyi and Echo’s Maui proposal portrait at Ironwoods Beach was one of those moments! The plan was a “ninja-style” surprise, and it unfolded perfectly against the cliffs and crashing waves of West Maui. Kaiyi had everything carefully planned. He and
