We are so excited to see the happy and familiar faces again of the Rook family! With three adorable kiddos—Layla, Ashby, and Everleigh—in tow, this dynamic crew knows a thing or two about making memories in paradise.
You see, the Rooks have a special affinity for Hawaii, making it a point to visit every year. And this year it was to the Big Island so it was the perfect reason to book a Big Island family portrait! And let’s not forget their furry friends—two lovable pups adopted from none other than the beautiful island of Kauai, with Luna being the newest addition to their ohana.
Now, when it comes to capturing those precious moments, the Rooks are old pros. They’ve worked with our photography team before, back when Desiree was expecting Everleigh! It was so sweet to see how their kiddos have grown since. Ashby, the shy one, quickly warmed up to the photographer’s “special” toys on Maui, while Everleigh’s boundless energy kept everyone on their toes.
Fun Times Together
So, armed with laughter, love, and a sprinkle of mischief, the Rooks embarked on their Big Island family portrait session at none other than the charming Old Kona Airport Beach. And oh, what a fun time it was! With sand between their toes and smiles lighting up their faces, they laughed, played, and embraced every moment with gusto.
Each kiddo brought their own little spark to their portrait session. Layla, the responsible big sister; Ashby, the shy but adventurous one; and Everleigh, the spirited little firecracker—all coming together to create a Big Island family portrait session of love and joy!
Sure, getting everyone to pose for the camera might not have been the easiest task, but hey, that’s all part of the fun, right? The candid photos are always the best! And as the shutter clicked and froze those fleeting moments in time, one thing became abundantly clear—the Rook family’s love knows no bounds, and their bond is as unbreakable as the Hawaiian sunshine.
