Wailea is one of our favorite areas on the island. It’s a sunny vacation spot, the beaches are gorgeous, and it offers lots of areas for gorgeous photos. We chose Southside Beach for the Bernabe family portraits, and it was a great morning!

A Vacation 21 Years in the Making
Geralyn & Alfred visited Maui 21 years ago on their Honeymoon. Now they’re back again, this time with their four precious kids in tow. Maui has changed a lot since their last visit, and of course they’ve grown as individuals and as a family. But it also feels so familiar: a couple in love, the sunshine on the beach, the way the world melts away for the few days you escape here.

Freezing Time During Family Portraits in Maui
Sarah and Renee are in college, and Aidan and Kyle are getting older every minute. But for a few sweet moments at Southside Beach, time stood still and they were all kids again. We loved snapping photos of their sweet smiles as they walked along the shoreline and splashed in the cool water.
We can’t wait to see which of these shots end up framed at the Bernabe house! The family is gorgeous and the scenery is unbeatable — how can you pick just a few photos??
