Surrounded by the lush greenery of Poli Poli forest Kaimi & Bula enjoyed each other’s company as we captured their Maui Engagement Portraits. They are such a fun and sweet couple and we are so excited to spend more time with them for their Maui wedding in a couple of months!

As we traveled up to the clouds we knew it was going to be a magical session. The crisp upcountry air and the soft hint of sunshine created the perfect setting for these epic Maui engagement portraits!

Fun Fact: Kaimi used to be a pre-school teacher on summer breaks when she would return home from college. That’s when Karma first met her. Kaimi has always been such a sweet soul and having her teach Brayden’s class will always be a special connection for us!

The Covid 19 crisis has affected so many weddings this year but these 2 essential workers weren’t going to let that change their plans! Kaimi is a nurse in the maternity ward at the hospital and Bula is a mechanic for Maui Electric. There has been no down time for this pair and their 2 year old son. They still find time to plan their Maui wedding and we’re so excited to be a part of it!

The tall grass in the middle of this lush upcountry dreamland was the perfect spot for Maui engagement portraits.
