A Special Couple ~ Emily & Kaika’s Maui Engagement Portraits
Taking Emily and Kaika’s Maui Engagement Portraits was so special! Emily is the lead wedding specialist over at our sister company Simple Maui Wedding. And now she and her fiancé are in the process of planning their own wedding! We couldn’t be happier for them and are thrilled to share their story. They met when they both were living on Molokai six years ago, at first they were beer pong partners and then they fell in love!
After getting engaged in November, they had to decide (like every couple) where they would get married. Since they will be having the wedding in Tennesse, where Emily is from, they wanted to take fun Maui Engagement Portraits! These two decided to dress casually for pictures in the jungle and went for a more dressed up style at Ironwoods. We especially love that Emily wore a dress that belonged to her grandmother when she was a teenager. Isn’t it beautiful?! She looks absolutely majestic on the cliffs overlooking the ocean! While Kaika is very shy in front of the camera he was a good sport and did his best to have fun, which isn’t hard when you’re with Emily 😉 . Plus he knows that they’ll love having these photos for years to come!
Since Cheynice took their photos a few years ago, this couple was excited to work with her again. And she was excited too! Here’s what she had to say, “I knew these two were gonna be fun to work with! Knowing Emily, she’s always so bubbly, fun, and knows how to have a good time! During the engagement photos, I really wanted to show their fun personalities by keeping it natural. Along with their chemistry that’s so noticeable in their pics, they also had a beautiful evening we all would die for! Omg!” We couldn’t agree more, this evening was absolutely magical.
