Meant to Be – Tricia & Billy’s Maui Wedding Photography

Tricia & Billy waited patiently for their “Big Day” to arrive & we surely felt that anticipation capturing their Maui wedding photography. too! It had been 5 months since we last got to photograph a wedding here in Maui. We’ve been patiently waiting for this day just as much as Tricia & Billy.
Tricia & Billy met 3 years ago when she swiped Right on Tinder. Billy thought it had to be his handsome face but it was actually just because of his name. To Tricia it was meant to be because he shared the same name as her Dog, Billy!
Southside Beach was gorgeous this Friday afternoon. There was a slight breeze added to the warm sunlight providing the perfect setting. Tricia & Billy had planned for their family and friends (and their dogs) to be there on their wedding day, but things didn’t work out quite as planned.
Travel restrictions and required quarantine for the guests coming from the mainland made it impossible for loved ones to attend. That wasn’t going to stop them from sharing their day with them though. Tricia & Billy brought Live Maui Webcasts along to film so that their moment was shared with their family and friends. This awful pandemic may have put up hurdles in our lives but Tricia & Billy weren’t going to let it get in the way of their love. It’s actually stronger than ever now as they begin this new chapter as Mr & Mrs.
The talented Billy restored this blue Bronco! We love how they included it in their wedding portraits. Billy had a fun “honeymoon weekend” planned adventuring in West Maui in the Bronco before heading back to work on Monday.
