Beaches & Bonding Time ~ The McKelvie’s Maui Family Portraits
Rolling with the punches, the McKelvie Family had the best attitude when it came time for their Maui Family Portraits. After their original sunset session ran into a snafu, we rallied along with them and we found another date, time, and location to use! Phew! Though we can’t control the fire that ruined the first plan, we always do our best to accommodate our clients and we were so glad we could make a backup plan work for this fabulous family. Treated to a stunning morning in South Maui, the fearless foursome enjoyed a spectacular scene that included a beautiful blue sky and gorgeous greenery. The dramatic lava rocks were tantalizing for two young girls as they played along the shore. While Kaho’olawe and the West Maui Mountains held court in the distance, this cool California crew soaked up the sun in style.
In town to celebrate their anniversary, it was such a wonderful delight to have this quality time as a family. With two young ladies growing up before their very eyes, the girls are starting to find their own paths in life so it’s more important than ever to bond over the simple pleasures. Heading to the Maui Ocean Center after our session with them, they couldn’t wait to see what the magical world below the surface has in store for them. Distinctly different in personality, there’s one thing they certainly have in common – a love for the family that’s there for them no matter what.
