It’s not every day we get the pleasure of coordinating a special Maui portrait proposal for an NFL star! Dennis, who plays for the Arizona Cardinals, had a big plan up his sleeve… He contacted us, hoping to propose to his girlfriend, Codi, on a recent trip to Maui! With our sister company, Simple Maui Wedding, we had everything coordinated just right to make this moment unforgettable!

Codi had no idea of the big surprise when they arrived at Po’olenalena Beach until she realized something was up when Dennis led her over to the flower circle on the sand! He got down on one knee and asked her the big question – and with the biggest smile, she said yes! And out our photographer popped out to capture the candid and sweet moment! It was truly a romantic scene with the sun shining down on them and the waves in the distance…
Their sunset portraits turned out beautifully, capturing each emotion from that special moment – from nerves and pure joy. The sweet couple, who met in college, has so much to look forward to as they plan their next chapter together!
We’re sure that this was an experience that neither Dennis nor Codi will ever forget. Organizing this special occasion and capturing their Maui proposal portrait was an honor!

The setting sun cast a golden glow over them as if it was reflecting their happiness and sheer joy of the moment! As we walked down the beach with our newly engaged pair, the tropical scenery and soft light created the most breathtaking of portraits! It set the romantic mood of their beach proposal that no doubt will become just another page in their love story…
