Okay, so imagine the kind of joy that feels like sun-warmed sand between your toes, a salty breeze in your hair, and the people you love most laughing beside you. That’s exactly what it felt like during the Bellemare’s Maui family portrait session at DT Fleming Beach, equal parts celebration, nostalgia, and happy chaos in the best way.
This trip marked a trifecta of milestone moments: one high school graduate, two university grads (engineering and nursing, cue applause), and drumroll, please… 27 years of marriage for the proud parents. Just Being Us
Joined by the girls’ long-time boyfriends (yes, they got the memo on matching coastal-chic outfits), the Bellemares were absolutely glowing. They nestled together on the rocks, ran barefoot through the surf, and goofed off while carrying their brother like a sack of joy, every photo captured a chapter of their story, equal parts sentimental and hilarious.
There’s one especially heart-melting photo of the girls planting kisses on their brother’s cheeks while he tried (and failed) to hide a grin. And don’t even get us started on the couple shots, someone frame those immediately. Every moment was so them: full of laughter, soft light, and affection that doesn’t need to be posed!
Photos like these matter. Not just for the fridge or holiday cards, but because one day you’ll look back and say, “Remember when we all flew to Maui after graduation and ran into the ocean like lunatics?” And you’ll have proof that you did it together.
