Married for 21 years with three wonderful kids (two teenagers and their youngest at 10), the Kijankos spend much of their lives moving between kids’ sports, school schedules, and the joyful busyness of family life. That’s why this trip to Hawaii was such a treat! It’s a rare chance to slow down together and soak in the magic of Maui.
Ironwoods gave us the perfect stage: wide golden sand, dramatic cliffs, and the Pacific stretching endlessly beyond. The light was incredible, soft, golden, and cinematic in a way that only Maui can pull off. It bathed every photo in warmth, making each moment feel like it belonged on a movie poster…just wait and see how stunning their portraits turned out!

We photographed them all together, the kind of cohesive perfection that happens when everyone shows up in shades of blue and white, blending seamlessly with the ocean and sky. The kids shared sibling laughs. And as a couple, the Kijankos radiated warmth, 21 years together and still so clearly in love.
