Some moments in life feel like they’re wrapped in golden light, tender, fleeting, and impossibly sweet. For the Badillo family, their Oahu family portrait session at Waialae Beach was exactly that! A babymoon celebration, a first visit to Oahu, and a chance to soak in the last chapter of being a family of three before everything grows fuller, louder, and more magical.
Visiting from Washington, they arrived with hearts full of excitement, and one tiny passenger along for the ride! At 33 weeks pregnant, Mama Angie glowed in the soft Hawaiian sun, their daughter, Eliana, bouncing happily beside her, proudly chattering about becoming a big sister. Dad, EJ, kept everyone laughing, as always, and together they made the kind of joyful, goofy, lovable trio that makes photographing families an absolute dream…

Waialae Beach greeted them with gentle waves, palm trees swaying like they were cheering them on. The morning felt bright and airy, the kind of light that turns every portrait into a memory you can feel. The Badillos leaned into it all: giggles, snuggles, and silly moments. It was a beautiful moment to witness as a family of three is about to become four!
This session meant something big. Between busy schedules, growing kids, and the swirl of everyday life, family photos rarely get to happen. But this time? They pressed pause. They showed up in paradise. And they documented this precious in-between moment, where they are still three, but dreaming of four!

Every frame captured love expanding, joy bubbling over, and that unmistakable tenderness that comes with waiting for a new baby.
Congratulations, Badillo family! May these portraits always remind you of the laughter, love, and island magic that surrounded you as you waited to meet your newest little one!
