There is something extra special about returning to a place that holds your story. For the Colombo family, Maui has been that place for years, and it continues to welcome them back. During their Maui family portrait at Southside Beach, it felt like stepping into a memory that has only grown more meaningful with time. In fact, they have visited annually for the past 15 years.

This trip also marked their 15th wedding anniversary in the place where they said “I do.” Meanwhile, the soft blue ocean stretched endlessly behind them, creating a peaceful backdrop. Along the shoreline, lush greenery framed the scene and added to the dreamy setting. As a result, every moment felt natural, connected, and full of meaning.

What made this Maui family portrait even sweeter was the ease between them. Throughout the session, they laughed often and stayed close to one another. In every glance and quiet moment, their connection was unmistakable. As they walked along the water, they paused for soft, meaningful hugs. Altogether, each image reflected both where they started and how far they have come.

In the end, it was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and tradition in a place that means so much to them. Mahalo for choosing Karma Hill Photography again!
