Abdullah, a courageous rescue swimmer in the Navy, and Kelly, a dedicated surgical ICU nurse, hailed from different corners of the United States. Kelly grew up in Sacramento, CA, while Abdullah was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Fate brought them together in San Diego four years ago, where their love story began to unfold.
