If you’ve ever wondered whether a Maui family portrait session could double as a memory capsule, this is your sign that yes, it absolutely can.
The Bersamin crew met us at DT Fleming Beach on Maui for what was more than just a photo session; it was the first full-family vacation together. Cue the sunshine, the waves, and the beautiful chaos of blending family, love, and milestone moments into one unforgettable morning.
Melissa and Anthony’s family is full of love and laughter. Melissa’s kids, Keegan and Audrey, are sweet, silly, and full of charm. Anthony’s daughter, Faith, just graduated from high school (congrats!!) and is headed to UCSD, so this session also celebrated the start of her next chapter. And to top it all off, Anthony’s dad, Tony, joined them for the trip, making this the first time everyone has been together for a portrait session.

We photographed them with a mix of posed portraits and playful candids, capturing everything from the proud smiles to the goofy in-betweens. The beach gave us glowing light, salty breeze, and that wide-open Maui beauty that makes every image feel like it belongs in a frame and your heart. Their kiddos gave us the biggest smiles and proudly posed for our photographer like pros. We captured all the combos and more, because moments like this can never be replaced! The Bersamins showed up with heart and love. We brought our camera. And Maui delivered!
That’s the thing…Family portraits are about freezing a moment in time, and what better place to do that than in Hawaii? It’s not just a pretty backdrop (although yes, it is stunning); it’s a place that already holds memories for this family, and now, holds new ones too.

To the Bersamin family: thank you for sharing this moment with us. Your joy was contagious, your connection was beautiful, and we’re so glad we got to be part of your story!
