Kauai family portrait sessions are always special, but the Brauners made theirs unforgettable! Visiting from Boston for Ido’s Bar Mitzvah trip, this was their first-ever professional portrait together and they chose the calm beauty of Anini Beach as their backdrop.
Reut and Eran, the parents, brought their crew of three: Ido (13), Mika (9), and Matan (5). They’re the definition of an active, fun family. Ido is all about adventure; he has kitesurfing and scuba diving lined up for Maui. Mika loves sewing as much as swimming, and she carried that creative spark into the session. And Matan, kindergarten-bound and bursting with excitement, kept everyone laughing.
Eran is usually in the OR working as a trauma surgeon, but here he swapped his scrubs for sandy toes and big hugs. Reut glowed in the way only a parent on vacation with family can. Together, they wanted photos that didn’t feel stiff or staged, and that’s exactly what they got!
