Soaking In The Warmth – Burnett Family’s Maui Beach Portraits

Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting up with the Burnett family to capture their Maui beach portraits! There’s so much to adore about these photographs. The Burnetts are a family of five visiting the island from Alaska. Jill, her husband, Shane, and their three children were soaking up Hawaii’s warm climate! However, this wasn’t our first time meeting this adventurous bunch — they’ve been taking pictures with us since 2013. This delightful group takes a trip to Maui every year to escape their home state’s chilly weather. While they’re on the island, they always schedule a session with us. Above all, we’re thankful to be part of their annual tropical getaway once again!
Why We Love Their Maui Beach Portraits
There’s never a dull moment when we take pictures for the Burnett family, and this session was no different! Our charming bunch was upbeat and enthusiastic when they arrived at the beach. You could tell they were ecstatic to capture new memories and were enjoying Hawaii’s warmth! Most importantly, we adore how this joyful group color-coordinated for these portraits! The bright green, blue, and turquoise tones beautifully complement the organic palette surrounding them.
Our gorgeous group decided to take their Maui portraits at Maluaka Beach, and the ambiance was so magical! The sunset was delicately hanging in the sky; it even left a soft golden glow on the shore. This radiance naturally enhanced the brilliance of every picture. Then, surrounding our family is a breathtaking natural landscape: dramatic lava rocks, cerulean waves, and lush greenery. We like how this fearless bunch wasn’t afraid to interact with the environment and put their feet in the water!
