The Location For Their Kauai Couples Portraits

Mahaulepu Beach set the scene for this session, but getting to this location wasn’t easy. We had to drive down a lengthy potholed dirt road, hike to the beach, then walk another fifteen minutes. It was worth the journey because this bay is full of breathtaking landscapes! You can see how the dramatic mountains, striking lava rocks, and cerulean waves create a magical background. Then the heavy cloud coverage enhanced the dreamy ambiance!

Originally from Colorado, Clark and Andrea have lived in Kauai for about a year. Recently, this gorgeous couple got engaged! What better way to celebrate this significant occasion than with scenic portraits. In every shot, they’re smiling brilliantly at the camera. You can tell this fiancé and fiancée are in their own world! Above all, we like how we shot this session at our adventurous duo’s favorite beach. Knowing the backdrop is our pair’s treasured spot makes every picture more meaningful!

Have you ever seen something so cute? We adore how this passionate pair and their dog, Brownie, have matching shirts. This charming pup was homeless on the street and our sweet couple rescued her! Brownie wanted to be in every Kauai couple’s portrait — she even had her best poses ready!
