From the cool, refreshing lakes of northern Minnesota to the warm, inviting sands of Maui, the Ericksons embarked on a Spring Break adventure! For the adults, Hawaii was a familiar paradise, but for the children and grandchildren, it was a canvas of new experiences waiting to be painted with memories. So we were so happy they chose to book a Maui family portrait to remember this special trip!
Living within a 15-minute drive of each other back home, the Ericksons are the epitome of a close-knit family. Summers are joyfully spent at their lake house, where the bonds of family are strengthened under the sun. This time, they chose to weave new memories in Maui. They captured the essence of their family in professional portraits for the very first time on the island’s picturesque D.T. Fleming Beach!
Fun Family Times
The excitement was palpable, especially among the five boys, cousins ranging from 11 to 17 years old, who were always up for fun and adventure. Their camaraderie is a sight to behold, a testament to the family’s tight-knit nature. Whitney and Justin, who had previously celebrated their first wedding anniversary in Maui with portraits taken by Karma, knew the value of capturing these fleeting moments. The years fly by so fast! And these Maui family portraits would become treasures, keepsakes of a time when the entire family was together in paradise.
Dressed in harmonious shades of blue and white, the Ericksons present a picture of unity and love against the stunning backdrop of Maui. Their outfits mirrored the tranquil blues of the ocean and the pristine whites of the beach. It created a cohesive look that was as visually pleasing as it was symbolic!
