It’s Time – The Evanses Maui Family Portrait
There are vacations… and then there are Evans family vacations. The kind that span generations, carry decades of memories, and somehow still feel as magical as the first time.
Visiting Maui for the 15th time (yes, 15!), the Evans family made this trip extra special by celebrating a huge milestone: their parents’ 40th anniversary with a Maui family portrait. The story? They honeymooned at the Hyatt in Kaanapali in 1985 and now, 40 years later, the whole crew stayed there together. Full circle. Full hearts.
At DT Fleming Beach, we captured it all: individual portraits, sibling giggles, big group shots, and yes a whole lot of love. Everyone looked amazing and so joyfully present. But let’s be honest, the real scene-stealers were the granddaughters (3.5 years and 6 months), who brought maximum cuteness and delighted every single one of us.
The sun lit up their smiles, the ocean gave us the perfect soundtrack, and those little toes in the sand? Unmatched.
The whole Evans crew hasn’t been together in front of the camera since the wedding nearly six years ago, which made this Maui family portrait session even more meaningful. Photos like these, spanning generations, full of real connection, aren’t just beautiful. They’re timeless. The kind of images that live on your walls, in your hearts, and in future family albums for grandkids who’ll one day ask, “Who’s that holding me at the beach?”
